Turtle Defense is a direct sequel to Turtle Attack, set 1 year after the original events, your team has finally located the rogue turtle who has taken over an alien planet. Your objective, stop him at all costs!

New pickups, new bosses and custom NPCs roaming around the map to stop you in this new installement that will consist of 2 levels!

Right now the map is in the alpha stage. Only 1 level and 4 special items in this stage.

pog defense, definitely looking forward to the full release alex!
The only thing I have complaints about is the final section where you have to walk through to the first glass dome after the second point is a little bit cramped and the zombie spawn is too far forward so they just drop on top of you and body block you until you die.

Differences from a3:

  • LEVEL 2 RELEASE
  • Become part of the Second Team and fight your way from the bottom caves to the military base in the heights!
  • Featuring a new boss!
  • Discover new pieces of the "lore"

  • LEVEL 1 CHANGES
  • Nerfed HatTurtle's rockets and stars damage by ~30% (damage varies depanding of morale)
  • Transition from map to boss arena shorter
  • Added music during Hatturtle's monologue
  • Fixed exploit involving not dying in the hole

  • GLOBAL
  • Voting system! At the beginning of each round, you will be able to select which you level you want to play! You can revote if you made a mistake! There will be a meta game involving the order of the levels played.
  • Continued work on the 3D Skybox! It is now 2/3 complete!
  • Posters have appeared around the map, keep your eyes open, you might find interesting stuff.

this translated from wing dings on some postit notes in the map, I call pen15 reference shenanigans! I will investigate further alex. I will find the non exsistent connection you cannot hide it from us.

crazy lore theories aside the map is fun to play on and generally has good flow although the last point of level 2 can be hard to beat with low player numbers

TURTLE DEFENSE B2 HAS BEEN RELEASED
  • LEVEL 3 HAS BEEN RELEASED
  • Unlock it by either beating level 1 or 2
  • The level is influenced by which previous levels have been beaten
  • 3 special items instead of 4 are available

MAIN CHANGES FROM B2

  • LEVEL 4 HAS BEEN ADDED
  • Unlock it by beating level 3
  • ...Or by mysterious ways...
  • Zombies start the level with both minicrits and defense buff... You have been warned
BOSSES
  • BISON ONLY HITS THE BOSSES ONCE
  • ALL BOSSES HAVE THEIR HP REDUCED BY ~10%
  • To compensate for it, they get a 0.05s invincibility frame every ~100 damage
  • Improved Level 1 HatTurtle boss where now it is forced to pick a spot after 4.5 seconds max
  • Plateforms are now closer to the main arena
  • Reduced Level 2 boss' stars damage
  • Reduced the push effect during the level 3 boss fight
  • The mini turtles during the level 3 boss fight now have their health scaled to the survivors count
  • Added 4 full ammo boxes at the level 3 pre-boss fight cutscene
ITEMS
  • ITEMS HAVE BEEN REBALANCED
  • Keyblade effiency against bosses increased by 33%
  • Decreased Turtle Eater Lite cooldown from 3s to 2.5s and increased burn time from 3s to 5s
  • Star Shield no longer grands explosive immunity, instead it gives the defensive buff
  • Succ eater reworked, the longer you use it on a zombie, the less effective it becomes. Recharge by not attracting any zombie.
  • Level 1 and 2 has 4 special items, level 3 has 3 special items and level 4 has 2 special items

OTHER
  • LEVEL 2 - Added an extra objective where you must activate a switch before reaching CP2, along with the addition of a new zombie spawn nearby
  • Level 3 - Zombies now have a new angle of attack at CP3
  • You can now set the volume of the music from the options!
  • Ship NPCs health reduced by 33%
  • Fixed pomson/bison shots not working in some areas
  • Added teleporters below the elevators in level 2 in case people get stuck
  • Level 3 and 4's capture points have a longer capture time than their previous levels (extra 5s)
  • Changed level 2 and 3's endings
